Planner + Floral designer + Love Story Enthusiast!

Hi, I’m Daisha—the heart behind Calhoun Event Co. I believe every wedding should feel like a page out of your favorite love story: beautiful, heartfelt, and completely your own. With a background in studio art, art history and museum curation, I’ve always been drawn to the little details that make big moments unforgettable.

I created Calhoun Event Co. to help couples plan weddings that feel true to who they are—filled with lush florals, intentional design, and unforgettable joy. I specialize in romantic, garden-inspired celebrations for brides who appreciate beauty, books, and the magic of a good story.

When I’m not designing weddings, you’ll find me in a garden, having random dance parties with my spunky daughter, binging The Office (it never gets old!) or Twilight (Team Edward still!) , reading a good book with comfy blankets and my two cats (Kiddie and Robbie) or caring for over 100 of my houseplants (…it is a method to my madness, I promise).. I’m so glad you’re here—and I’d be honored to be a part of your love story.
